Meet Luisa

Hello and thanks for stopping by. I am a potter who also loves to cook and this website is a combination of the two. I make small batch functional ceramics in my home studio. I took to clay in high school and continued my studies throughout college. I then went on to earn a post-baccalaureate degree in ceramics from the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts in Portland, Oregon. 

I live in Crested Butte, Colorado with my husband and our 2 kids, where we love to ski, hike, bike, and enjoy nature.  I have a home studio where I make small batch wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery. My work is made from a mid-fire porcelain clay body and it is functional and meant to be used daily. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. I also love to cook and try to focus in nutritious meals, and chocolate. I became a certified Natural Chef from Bauman College in Berkeley, CA about 6 years ago, and had a food blog for many years called Greens and Sweet Things, which is now part of this new website.  I have taught kids and adult cooking classes but the majority of my cooking is done at home for my family and friends.
